OUR MISSION

Purposeful Living and Giving (PL&G) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that serves as a resource for underserved families throughout the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia) and Camden, NJ. PLG is organized exclusively for the charitable, educational, and support needs of the community. We provide services to address:

  • Literacy, math and science proficiency
  • The financial wellbeing of low-income families during the Christmas holidays
  • Food insecurity
  • The unmet needs of seniors in assisted living facilities

This event is being organized to raise funds for Purposeful Life & Giving, and for Sasha Bruce Youth Works, both non-profit agencies that provide resources to young adults that are currently displaced, and aging out of the foster care system.
